Anyone running DOORS 8.2 / 8.3 on Windows 7

Is anyone running DOORS Client 8.2 or 8.3 on Windows 7?

We are about to move our client platforms from Windows XP SP3 to Windows 7 and wondered if anyone has experience of running with this configuration.

We will eventually migrate to DOORS 9.2 or 9.3 but hoped to delay this until later in the year.

v9.3 supports Windows 7, v9.2 or v8.1 should NOT work. We are all in a hurry to migrate before the domineering IT folks impose Windows 7 on us.

I don't know what the problem will be if you install v8.2 on Windows 7 or upgrade Windows 7 after installing DOORS, but I expect it will not run.

If it doesn't work then I thought maybe it would using Windows 7’s Windows XP mode.

In the meantime I have just heard back from IBM who state "It will work but is not supported"
